How to maintain diesel generator sets
1：Cleanliness and hygiene
Keep the outside of the generator set clean and wipe off oil stains with a rag at any time.
2：Check before start
Before starting the generator set, check the fuel, engine oil amount, and cooling water amount of the generator set: keep enough zero-grade diesel to run for 24 hours; the engine oil level is close to the oil dipstick (HI), which is not enough to replenish; the water tank water level is 50 mm under the water cap, which is not enough Full.
3 ： Start the battery
Check the battery every 50 hours. The battery electrolyte is 10-15 mm higher than the plate. Add distilled water to make up the difference. Use a hydrometer to read 1.28 (25°C). The battery voltage remains above 24 volts.
4： oil filter
After the generator set has been running for 250 hours, the oil filter must be replaced to ensure that its performance is in optimal condition. Please refer to the generator set operation record for the specific replacement time.
5：Fuel Filter
After the generator set has been operating for 250 hours, replace the fuel filter.
6：water tank
After the generator set has been working for 250 hours, the water tank must be cleaned once.
7：air filter
After the generator set has been working for 250 hours, remove it, clean it, blow off the dust, dry it and reinstall it; after working for 500 hours, replace the air filter.
8：engine oil
After the generator has been running for 250 hours, the oil must be changed. The higher the grade of engine oil, the better the quality. It is recommended to use engine oil of grade CF or above.
9：Cooling water
Replace the generator set after 250 hours of operation. Anti-rust fluid must be added when changing the water.
10：three leather corner belt
Check the V-belt every 400 hours. Press the belt with a force of about 45N (45Kgf) at the midpoint of the loose edge of the V-belt. The sinkage should be 10mm, otherwise, adjust it. If the V-belt is worn, it needs to be replaced. If one of the two belts is damaged, both belts need to be replaced together.
11：valve clearance
Check and adjust the valve clearance every 250 hours of operation.
12：Turbocharger
Every 250 hours of operation, the turbocharger housing needs to be cleaned.
13：fuel injector
Replace the fuel injector every 1200 hours of operation.
14：Intermediate revision
Every 3,000 hours of operation, intermediate maintenance is carried out. The specific inspection contents include: 1. Lift the cylinder head and clean the cylinder head; 2. Clean and grind the valve; 3. Replace the fuel injector; 4. Check and adjust the oil supply regularly; 5. , Oil shaft turning gear difference measurement; 6. Cylinder liner wear measurement.
15：Overhaul
An overhaul is performed every 6,000 hours of operation. The specific inspection content is: 1. Maintenance content of mid-term maintenance; 2. Remove the piston, connecting rod, piston cleaning, measure the piston ring groove, and replace the piston ring; 3. Measure the crankshaft wear amount, and inspect the crankshaft bearing. ; 4. Clean the cooling system.
16：Circuit breakers, cable connection points
Remove the side panel of the generator and tighten the fixing screws of the circuit breaker. Tighten the power output end and the cable lug with the locking screws. Once a year.
