Assume that the total capacity of the primary and secondary loads of the project is P1. (If the project has two 10kV power incoming lines, then P1 does not include the secondary load in the project.)
- In case of fire
When a fire occurs, the diesel generator should be able to supply the fire load of the project. Assume that the fire load capacity of the project is P2. If P2<P1, then the diesel generator capacity should be selected based on P1; if P2>P1, then the capacity of the diesel generator needs to be selected based on the ground load. Calculate the larger of the fire-fighting equipment capacity that needs to be put into operation in the case of a fire in the largest building or a fire in the basement. Assume that its capacity is P2', then compare P2' with P1, and choose the larger one to choose diesel. Generator capacity. The diesel generator capacity selected in this way is more reasonable.
If the fire water pump or fan in the project has a large capacity, it is also necessary to review whether the diesel generator capacity selection can meet the starting conditions of the largest fire water pump or fan. If not, the diesel generator capacity needs to be increased accordingly.
- In case of special electricity demand
In addition to the above three usage situations, if the builder has special power needs, then the capacity of the diesel generator needs to be selected according to the builder's power needs.
In addition, in the event of a fire, the diesel generator should be designed to automatically cut off non-fire-fighting important loads to ensure that the diesel generator has sufficient power supply capacity and reliably supplies power to the fire-fighting loads.
